Detailed Itinerary
- Start your journey from Haridwar, passing through Rishikesh, Dehradun, and Mussoorie.
- Reach Barkot, a scenic town near Yamunotri, and stay overnight.
- Travel by road to Janki Chatti, the base camp for the Yamunotri trek.
- Alternative stop: Hanuman Chatti (13 km before Yamunotri).
- The trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri is moderately challenging.
- Pony, palki, and palanquin services are available for those unable to walk.
- En route, enjoy scenic views, hot water springs, and divine landscapes.
- Visit the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
- Take a dip in Surya Kund (hot water spring) before offering prayers.
- After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot for an overnight stay.
- Travel back via the same route and conclude the pilgrimage in Haridwar.
