- Begin your journey from Haridwar, a major pilgrimage city.
- Travel to Rishikesh, the "Yoga Capital of the World."
- Visit Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhula, and Laxman Jhula before proceeding.
- Travel via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, Joshimath, and Vishnuprayag.
- Govindghat (1,828 m) is the base point for the Hemkund Sahib trek.
- Accommodation is available at Gurudwaras and hotels in Govindghat.
- Trek through lush green trails along the Laxman Ganga River.
- Pony/Palki and helicopter services are available for convenience.
- Ghangaria (3,050 m) is the last stop before Hemkund Sahib.
- A steep and challenging trek, but breathtakingly beautiful.
- The Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara sits by a pristine glacial lake, with snow-clad peaks surrounding it.
- Visit the Lakshman Temple, believed to be where Lakshman meditated.
- Descend from Hemkund Sahib to Ghangaria (2-3 hours).
- Trek back to Govindghat the next day.
- Travel back to Haridwar via the same route.
